Job Title: Education Consultant /Enrollment Officer– International Student Recruitment (India)

Work Location: Hyderabad - travel within India as required

Role Summary

The Education Consultant (India) is responsible for recruiting and enrolling qualified Indian students into University's affiliated medical program at School of Medicine and other courses (Flight Training). The role focuses on building a strong pipeline of students from India, advising them and their families on studying medicine overseas, and managing the end‐to‐end admissions journey from first inquiry through enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute an annual recruitment plan for India to meet agreed enrollment targets for School of Medicine

  • Generate and qualify leads through school/college outreach, education agents, digital campaigns, webinars, pre‐med coaching centers, and referral networks across key Indian cities
  • .Conduct one‐to‐one and small‐group counseling (in person and online) with students and parents to explain
  • MBBS/MD pathways via a Caribbean medical school versus Indian and other overseas options
  • Admission criteria, entrance expectations, required documentation, timelines, and selection process
  • Tuition, living costs, payment plans, and available scholarship/financing options.
  • Licensing, residency, and career outcomes after graduation
  • Guide students through the full application process: eligibility pre‐check, document checklist, form completion, statement of purpose support, interview scheduling, and coordination with the central admissions team
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of leads, interactions, and application status in the CRM; provide data‐driven insight into funnel conversion by region and channel
  • Build, onboard, and manage relationships with Indian education agents, school/college counselors, coaching institutes, and other recruitment partners, ensuring compliant and ethical practices
  • Represent the institution at Indian education fairs, school visits, university events, and virtual info sessions (evenings/weekends as required by local demand).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling India‐focused presentations/webinars highlighting Trinity's academic strengths, clinical rotation opportunities, global recognition, and student support services.
  • Provide regular market intelligence on Indian student/parent expectations, competitor offerings, and regulatory considerations impacting outbound medical students.
  • Support admitted students through post‐offer steps including offer acceptance, fee payments, visa documentation support, travel planning, and pre‐departure briefings tailored for Indian students
  • Ensure all communications and marketing activities align with brand guidelines and comply with Indian regulations around education counseling and advertising.
  • Sciences, or a related field.10+ years of experience in international student recruitment, education counseling, or high‐value consultative sales in India (experience with medical/healthcare or overseas education strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering enrollment targets from Indian markets for universities, colleges, or overseas education providers
  • Familiarity with the India–to–overseas medical education pathway (e.g., NEET context, Indian parent expectations, typical concerns about Caribbean MBBS/MD routes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong consultative counseling style, able to explain complex medical education pathways clearly to both students and parents
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one major Indian language (e.g., Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, or Marathi), preferably aligned with the candidate's primary territory.
  • Confident presenter, comfortable hosting webinars, seminars, and large‐group sessions in schools, colleges, and coaching centers
  • Strong relationship‐management skills with agents, school leaders, and other channel partners
  • High level of cultural sensitivity and credibility with Indian families considering overseas education and significant financial commitment.
  • Strong organizational skills and discipline in managing high‐volume pipelines across multiple cities and time zones.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and online meeting platforms

Key Success Measures

  • Volume and quality of Indian applicants generated and enrolled against target
  • Lead‐to‐application, application‐to‐offer, and offer‐to‐enrollment conversion rates for India
  • Growth and productivity of the India partner network (agents, schools, coaching institutes.
  • Positive feedback from students and parents regarding counseling quality and responsiveness.

Working Conditions

  • Based in Hyderabad working primarily with frequent travel within assigned regions.
  • Evening and weekend availability to align with student/parent schedules and webinar timings.
