These solutions help clients achieve significant savings in space, time, effort, and overall operational costs. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Chennai. The Sales Engineer will work closely with prospective and existing customers to understand their technical and operational requirements for sewage treatment solutions and propose suitable products and configurations. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, preparing technical and commercial proposals, delivering product demonstrations, and supporting contract negotiations with the sales team. The role also involves coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution design, timely project handover, and smooth implementation. The Sales Engineer will provide ongoing technical support, address customer queries, and maintain strong client relationships to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business. Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions and value propositions.
- Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service to manage the full sales cycle, nurture relationships, and respond effectively to customer needs.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentations, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience providing Technical Support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with internal technical teams for solution delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in water or wastewater treatment.
- Familiarity with STP/ETP, water or wastewater treatment technologies, or environmental infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, and travel within the region as required.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time-management abilities, with a results-oriented and collaborative work style.
