About the Role
Kinghills is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Video & Photo Data Manager to manage, sort, archive, and maintain media assets received from multiple photographers, videographers, production teams, and external partners.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all video, photo, graphics, and project-related data is systematically organized, securely stored, and easily accessible for editors, graphic designers, creative producers, and other stakeholders. This role is critical in maintaining an efficient content production workflow and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and organize media files from multiple photographers, videographers, and production teams.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely and complete data transfers.
- Create and maintain structured folder systems and naming conventions across projects.
- Archive and back up media assets following company protocols.
- Ensure editors, graphic designers, creative producers, and marketing teams can quickly locate and access required assets.
- Maintain metadata, project logs, asset inventories, and storage records.
- Monitor data integrity and ensure no loss or corruption of media files.
- Manage storage solutions, hard drives, cloud storage, servers, and backup systems.
- Track footage, photographs, graphics, project files, and final deliverables throughout the production lifecycle.
- Assist in establishing and improving asset management workflows and processes.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve missing or incomplete data issues.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Create proxies of the heavy video footage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Film Production, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Information Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Data Manager, Digital Imaging Technician (DIT), Media Asset Manager, Production Coordinator, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of video production and post-production workflows.
- Experience handling large volumes of media files and digital assets.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in file management, data organization, and storage systems.
- Able to travel throughout India whenever required.
- Hands on experience in Adobe Media Encoder, NAS Storage Systems, Frame.io, Google Drive / Dropbox, Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in production houses, media agencies, studios, broadcast environments, or corporate content teams.
- Knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite workflows, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects project structures.
- Understanding of data backup, archival, and media management best practices.
- Experience managing cloud-based collaboration platforms and shared storage environments.
