DescriptionThe project involves development of a new application for the customer's Shipment Management and Documentation Services, including modernization of selected legacy modules into a modern, scalable, cloud-native platform.The application will be built using Java Spring Boot (Java 21) in a Microservices architecture, deployed on OpenShift, with Oracle 19c as the backend database. The user interface will be developed using Angular 20 following a Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance application modules for Shipment Management and Documentation Services Modernize legacy modules and migrate them into a microservices-based architecture Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot Build responsive and modular UI components using Angular 20 Implement and support Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture Deploy and manage applications in OpenShift environment Leverage cloud-native features such as containerization, configuration management, health checks, scaling, and resilience patterns Design and optimize database interactions with Oracle 19c Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, architecture, QA, DevOps, and product teams Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production support Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization Support CI/CD implementation and release activities Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across application layers |
