We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, accounting processes, and compliance activities within a healthcare environment. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling GST-related activities, managing bookkeeping functions, and ensuring timely reconciliations and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with Tally Prime, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical or healthcare setting. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations regularly.
  • Prepare and maintain GST records, returns, and related compliance documentation.
  • Record financial transactions accurately using Tally Prime.
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue transactions.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
  • Maintain accounting schedules and support audit requirements.
  • Generate financial reports and MIS statements using accounting systems and MS Excel.
  • Verify invoices, payments, receipts, and expense records for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with management regarding financial data, reports, and operational requirements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as needed.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and accounting software.
  • Good understanding of GST compliance, taxation processes, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger management, and financial record maintenance.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, clinic, hospital, or medical services environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for working with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
