We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, accounting processes, and compliance activities within a healthcare environment. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling GST-related activities, managing bookkeeping functions, and ensuring timely reconciliations and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with Tally Prime, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical or healthcare setting. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations regularly.
- Prepare and maintain GST records, returns, and related compliance documentation.
- Record financial transactions accurately using Tally Prime.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue transactions.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Maintain accounting schedules and support audit requirements.
- Generate financial reports and MIS statements using accounting systems and MS Excel.
- Verify invoices, payments, receipts, and expense records for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with management regarding financial data, reports, and operational requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities as needed.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and accounting software.
- Good understanding of GST compliance, taxation processes, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger management, and financial record maintenance.
- Prior experience in a healthcare, clinic, hospital, or medical services environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
