Job Description - CI/CD Engineer (CIBOX Squad)
Team Context
CIBOX is a core engineering squad responsible for delivering, maintaining, and enhancing the CI/CD ecosystem that powers continuous delivery across the organization. The team manages largescale software factory components, supports development teams in automating deployments, and enforces DevSecOps best practices across cloudnative and hybrid environments.
Your Responsibilities
As a CI/CD Engineer, you will:
Platform Administration & Engineering
- Administer and support key CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub / GitHub Actions, XL DeployIT, and Artifactory.
- Lead ArgoCD, Helm, and Kubernetesbased deployment workflows and drive GitOps practices across product teams.
- Implement and manage DevSecOps controls across the pipeline, ensuring security, consistency, and compliance.
- Build, Manage, Support and troubleshoot the infrastructure hosting our CICD tools.
Technical Leadership & Problem Solving
- Design, improve, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and related toolchains at scale.
- Diagnose challenges encountered in a large software factory environment and implement sustainable fixes or process improvements.
- Guide teams on good engineering practices, scalable deployment strategies, and automation standards.
Development, Best Practices & Operational Excellence
- Oversee endtoend deployment processes-explaining why developments were done, the problems they solved, and the best practices enforced.
- Support diverse product teams by understanding criticality, SLAs, operational requirements, and ensuring reliable deployment workflows.

- Administering CI/CD tools and implementing pipeline automation at scale.
- Managing GitOps practices with ArgoCD, building and deploying Helm charts, and running workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
- Explaining realworld challenges encountered in CI/CD ecosystems and the solutions / process improvements implemented.
- Supporting productiongrade products, articulating their criticality, and applying DevSecOps best practices endtoend.
- Working across crossfunctional teams and providing technical leadership in highavailability engineering environments.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with cloud architectures or cloud provider ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a strong advantage.
- Experience modernizing legacy pipelines or leading platformlevel transformations.
