Job Overview: The Mobile Engineering team at Netradyne is responsible for building and scaling high-performance mobile applications that power Netradyne's Driver.i platform and customer-facing solutions. As a Staff Engineer - Mobile Apps, you will play a key technical leadership role in designing, developing, and scaling advanced mobile applications, while contributing hands-on to complex engineering challenges. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define technical direction, ensure best practices, and deliver high-quality mobile experiences at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of advanced mobile applications, primarily for Android, with experience using React Native
    Work closely with product and design teams to create innovative user experiences
    Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and scalable code for different form factors for mobile apps
    Stay up to date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols in mobile development
    Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance for Netradyne mobile apps
    Engage in hands-on programming tasks with the team to ensure the final delivery of high-quality solutions
    Define and drive mobile architecture decisions, ensuring best practices in code quality, modularity, scalability, and performance
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, perform design and code reviews, and contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in mobile application development
    Expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
    Experience with cross-platform development using React Native; exposure to iOS (Swift, Swift UI)
    Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, Redux/MVI/VIP
    Experience building modular mobile codebases, SDKs, and reusable libraries
    Solid foundation in Operating Systems, Databases, Data Structures, Algorithms, and design patterns
    Experience with APIs, third-party integrations, and mobile networking concepts
    Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
    Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile applications
    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows
    Ability to lead technically without direct people management
    Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions

Qualifications and Education Requirements

BTech / MTech in Computer Science or Engineering (MBA is a plus).
