- Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly experienced Adobe Commerce Senior Developer (Senior Consultant) to work on enterprise-grade Adobe Commerce Cloud implementations for global customers.
- This role is strictly backend-focused and demands speed, ownership, and excellence in delivery. The consultant is expected to operate independently, deliver production-ready solutions quickly, and communicate clearly with global stakeholders.
- This is not a learning role. Only proven, hands-on Adobe Commerce Cloud professionals should be proposed.
Key Responsibilities

- • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality backend solutions on Adobe Commerce Cloud
- • Build and customize Magento 2 modules, services, and integrations
- • Implement event-driven and API-first architectures
- • Develop and maintain custom integrations using Adobe App Builder
- • Ensure strict adherence to Magento 2 coding standards and best practices
- • Perform performance tuning, debugging, and production issue triage
- • Participate in architecture discussions and provide practical, scalable solutions
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting aggressive timelines
- • Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and customers
Mandatory Technical Skills -
- Adobe Commerce Platform
- • Adobe Commerce (Magento Open Source & Adobe Commerce)
- • Adobe Commerce Cloud architecture and environments
- • Environment lifecycle management, branching, and deployments
- Backend Development
- • Strong expertise in PHP (modern standards, performance-focused)
- • Magento 2 backend development:
- o Custom modules and extensions
- o Service contracts, repositories
- o Plugins, observers, preferences
- • GraphQL (backend APIs and integrations)
- • REST APIs and custom services
- • Asynchronous processing and message queues
