About The Job:
- As a Devops Platform Lead for the internal dormakaba developer platform, you will be tasked with maintaining and customizing DevOps tools in the AWS cloud.
- These tools support every phase of the software delivery lifecycle for dormakaba DevOps teams, including the planning, coding, building, testing, releasing, deploying, operating, and monitoring of custom applications.
- The internal developer platform encompasses tools for agile project management, source code management, CI/CD, static code analysis, software composition analysis, artifact management, secrets management, observability and monitoring.
- In your daily work, you will assist DevOps teams in maximizing the effectiveness of these tools by providing expert guidance, troubleshooting issues and implementing best practices.
- You will collaborate closely with DevOps teams to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring the platform evolves to meet their requirements.
- Support and maintain the global DevOps toolchain to enable efficient software delivery for development and operations teams
- Work with in-house self-service tools and assist users in utilizing DevOps toolstack capabilities
- Implement and manage cloud environments, applications, and servers using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments and applications to ensure system stability and business continuity
- Contribute to documentation and follow established best practices for DevOps tools usage
- Assist in knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, and training for the Dormakaba DevOps community
- Collaborate with internal teams and external IT suppliers for issue resolution and continuous improvement
- Exp:8-12 years
- Bachelor’s degree in either: IT, Computer Science, Mathematics/ another related field or relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience in migrating Atlassian applications (Jira/Confluence) from Data Center to Cloud environments
- Ability to design and develop software for scalable and distributed systems
- Administrative experience for DevOps toolchains such as: Artifactory (+Xray), Bitbucket, Bitwarden, Confluence, Datadog, JIRA, Jenkins and SonarQube (or similar tools)
- Experience with the following technologies: Spring Boot, Maven, RESTful APIs / Web Services and NoSQL databases (e. g. MongoDB)
- Working experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems
- Working experience with Container technologies like Docker
- Experience with Container Orchestration Platforms like Kubernetes and AWS Elastic Container Service
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
- Experience with configuration as code tools like Ansible
- General affinity for security related topics
- Experience in working with agile methodologies (DevOps, Kanban and Scrum)
- Work experience in Java software development and AWS cloud operations will be considered as a plus
