About The Job:
- Design and develop technical product training and eLearning for client’s internal technical audiences (e.g., Technical Support, Software Development, Cloud Operations).
- The role requires strong instructional design expertise combined with the ability to work with complex, highly technical content.
Essential Job Functions:
Learning Design & Development
- Design and develop high-quality instructional materials and curricula for technical audiences
- Create eLearning assets (courses, modules, microlearning, simulations)
- Develop design documents and storyboards to structure learning experiences
- Transform existing materials (e.g., PPTs, videos) into effective eLearning solutions
Analysis & Instructional Strategy
- Conduct learning needs analysis and align solutions to business requirements
- Translate business and role requirements into measurable learning outcomes
- Apply instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, ISD, etc.)
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with SMEs, program managers, and business stakeholders to define training needs
- Facilitate SME input and ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Manage expectations and incorporate feedback across cross-functional teams
Project Ownership (IC4-level signal)
- Coordinate end-to-end training development projects across distributed teams
- Define timelines, priorities, and deliverables
- Own content revisions and continuous improvement cycles
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct course evaluations and incorporate feedback into future iterations
- Use performance metrics (confidence, adoption, productivity) to improve learning impact
- Recommend innovative learning solutions for ongoing optimization
Qualifications:
Technical & Domain Knowledge
- Experience with enterprise software (SaaS/PaaS, ITSM, ITIL preferred)
- Ability to design training for complex technical systems
Instructional Design Expertise
- Strong foundation in:
- Adult learning theory
- ADDIE / ISD / Mager methodologies
- Kirkpatrick evaluation model
Tools & Execution
- Experience with:
- eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Camtasia)
- LMS platforms
- Microsoft Office suite
Professional Skills
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in global, distributed teams
- Experience Typically 5+ years in technical instructional design / training environments
