Essential Job Functions:

• Collect and analyze threat data from internal and external sources (e.g., open source intelligence, dark web, threat feeds)
• Monitor adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using frameworks like MITRE Telecommunication&CK
• Produce actionable intelligence reports for stakeholders including SOC, incident response, and executive leadership
• Support incident response teams with contextual threat intelligence during active investigations
• Conduct threat actor profiling and track campaigns targeting the organization or industry
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve threat detection and mitigation strategies
• Stay updated on geopolitical developments and emerging cybercrime trends

Qualifications:
Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–5 years of experience in threat intelligence or related cybersecurity roles
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, ThreatConnect)
• Proficiency in OSINT tools (e.g., Maltego, Shodan) and malware analysis platforms (e.g., VirusTotal)
• Strong understanding of network protocols, intrusion detection systems, and digital forensics
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical findings into business-relevant insights

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
• GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI)
• CISSP, Security+, or equivalent
