Role Overview

As a Machine Learning and AI Software Engineer, you will hold a strong understanding of various Machine Learning models and build, train, and deploy intelligent algorithms into production. You will bridge the gap between theoretical data science and scalable software engineering, optimizing models for real-world applications like audio processing, ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition), NLP (Natural Language Processing), computer vision, and autonomous systems to enhance the smart mobility experience for our riders.

Responsibilities

• Build, train, and deploy robust and scalable intelligent algorithms and machine learning models into production environments.
• Bridge the gap between theoretical data science and scalable software engineering.
• Optimize machine learning models for real-world applications, including audio processing, ASR, NLP, computer vision, and autonomous systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into our connected hardware and cloud ecosystem.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for model deployment and infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain machine learning models in production, ensuring high performance, reliability, and accuracy.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI development.
• Strong understanding of various Machine Learning models, algorithms, and architectures, particularly in audio processing, ASR, and NLP.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI/ML (e.g., Python, C++) and software engineering practices.
• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and a proven track record of deploying models into production.
• Proven track record of optimizing models for scale, performance, and real-world applicability.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
