Job Description

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an AI Integration & Automation Engineer to design and implement intelligent automation workflows, API-driven integrations, and AI-powered solutions across enterprise applications and IT systems.
  • This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and efficient automation frameworks that reduce manual effort and enable predictive, self-healing IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Application & API Integrations:

  • Develop and maintain API-based integrations between enterprise platforms such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Freshservice, Workday, CRM systems, Genesys phone system, and other IT tools.
  • Design middleware and microservices for seamless data exchange and process orchestration.

Automation Workflows:

  • Build end-to-end automation workflows for IT operations, incident management, and business processes using Power Automate, Python, Ansible, and RPA tools.
  • Implement event-driven automation for real-time system responses and alerts.

AI-Driven Automation:

  • implement LLM-based solutions for intelligent ticket classification, automated knowledge base generation, and conversational IT support.
  • Deploy NLP-powered chatbots and virtual assistants for self-service IT and workflow automation.
  • Integrate AI/ML models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and proactive system optimisation.
  • Utilise cloud AI services (Azure AI, AWS AI) and MLOps pipelines for scalable AI deployments.

System Optimisation & Monitoring:

  • Ensure integrations and workflows are secure, scalable, and resilient.
  • Implement observability and monitoring for automated processes and AI models.

Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Work closely with IT, Applications, and Business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Document integration architectures, automation workflows, and AI models for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in application integration, automation engineering, and API development.
  • Knowledgeable in Atlassian products, Freshservice, Workday, CRM tools, cloud services, Genesys phone system, and other IT systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, REST APIs, JSON, and automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Hugging Face, Anthropic) and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and compliance standards.
