About the Role
This is an AI-Driven Quality (AI-DLC) role — quality engineering for the AI era. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to drive quality from requirements through production-ready automation. This is not a \"write a few Playwright scripts\" role — it requires a quality engineering mindset, strong test architecture instincts, and the ability to translate business requirements directly into robust, traceable automated coverage using AI-assisted tooling.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright + TypeScript
- Experience with functional and visual test automation
- Solid API testing experience
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Zephyr for test management and traceability
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Proven experience in test architecture and framework development
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing or quality engineering tools
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and quality engineering principles
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated functional and visual test solutions using Playwright, TypeScript, and AI-assisted quality engineering tools
- Convert business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design specifications into robust automated test coverage with clear traceability
- Build and maintain reusable automation components — page objects, test utilities, test data strategies, and quality governance standards
- Integrate automation workflows with Jira, Zephyr, CI/CD pipelines, reporting platforms, and quality dashboards for end-to-end visibility
- Implement visual validation, component-level verification, regression testing, and quality gates to catch functional and UI defects early
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testability, define automation-ready requirements, and continuously enhance engineering quality practices

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with performance testing tools (k6, JMeter)
