Role Description

As an Associate Producer at AJAN Media, you will support the end-to-end production of video, audio, and digital content for a variety of brands and platforms. In this full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, you will coordinate pre-production tasks such as scheduling, briefing stakeholders, organizing scripts, and managing production documents, while also supporting on-set or in-studio logistics. You will collaborate closely with producers, creative directors, editors, and designers to track project timelines, manage deliverables, and ensure smooth communication across teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating shoot plans and schedules with clients, managing pre-production meetings, creating shot lists, gathering references, coordinating equipment rentals, shortlisting talent and vendors, ensuring all assets meet brand and quality standards. You will also gather feedback from clients, and contribute ideas to improve production workflows and content effectiveness, with flexibility to work both from the office and from home as project needs allow.

Qualifications

• Strong production coordination and project management skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and managing multiple projects in parallel.
• Experience in media production workflows such as pre-production meetings, video shoots, podcast recording, post-production review, and delivery for digital platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative teams, including producers, editors, designers, motion artists, and sound engineers.
• Comfort with client communication, gathering requirements, documenting feedback, and supporting clear, timely status reporting.
• Basic familiarity with editing and post-production tools or environments (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, asset management tools) is an advantage.
• Strong research, organizational, and documentation skills to support briefs, scripts, call sheets, and production reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Indian languages are a plus.
• Relevant academic background in Media Studies, Mass Communication, Film, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Bengaluru, manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting, and adapt to changing production priorities.
