Job Description
We Are Looking for A Creative Animator for Minimalist Stickman Animations
DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for a creative animator to help produce short-form minimalist stickman animations for social media content.
These videos are simple, emotionally relatable, slightly funny, and focused on everyday mental overload, burnout, anxiety, overthinking, ADHD-like moments, and emotional experiences people relate to.
Examples:
• Forgetting where your keys are while holding them
• Reading the same sentence 7 times
• Zoning out mid-conversation
• Walking into a room and forgetting why
• Feeling emotionally overwhelmed represented through paper-crumpling visuals
STYLE:
• Minimalist black ink stickman
• Hand-drawn/sketchbook aesthetic
• Warm off-white textured paper background
• Simple but expressive emotions
• Smooth subtle animation
• Symbolic visual storytelling
IMPORTANT:
We ARE looking for:
• Simple hand-drawn animation
• Emotional storytelling through motion
• Clean timing and pacing
• Someone who understands subtle expression and relatable humor
VIDEO REQUIREMENTS:
• Around 15–20 seconds each
• Social-media optimized
• Simple motion only (arms, head, expressions, environmental movement)
• Consistent stickman character across all videos
WORKFLOW:
We will provide:
• Script
• Creative direction
You will:
• Animate the scenes
• Add smooth transitions/movement
• Deliver final video files
WORKLOAD:
• Approximately 5 videos per week ongoing
• Potential long-term collaboration if style and quality match
