Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
PMO Governance & Portfolio Management
• Establish and maintain PMO governance frameworks, project methodologies, and delivery standards across all IT domains.
• Manage the IT project portfolio covering infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, and automation initiatives.
• Oversee project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning across the IT organization.
• Develop and maintain project reporting dashboards, KPIs, and executive status reporting for CIO and leadership.
• Drive project management best practices, templates, and tooling standardization across teams.
IT Compliance & ITGC
• Define and maintain IT General Controls (ITGC) baselines covering access management, change management, and operations.
• Ensure IT policies, procedures, and controls are documented, communicated, and consistently applied.
• Coordinate internal and external IT audits; track findings, remediation plans, and closure.
• Monitor compliance with IT security policies and support cybersecurity governance initiatives.
• Maintain IT risk register and ensure appropriate controls are in place for critical systems and processes.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
• Lead or oversee critical IT projects; ensure delivery on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Facilitate project steering committees, change advisory boards, and governance meetings.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations across the portfolio.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
• Project Management: Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid); project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Portfolio Management: IT portfolio oversight, project prioritization, demand management, and capacity planning.
• ITGC & Compliance: IT General Controls, access management controls, change management controls, IT policy frameworks.[CM1.1]
• PM Tools: Proficiency in Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar project/portfolio management tools.
• Reporting & Analytics: Dashboard creation, KPI tracking, executive reporting using Power BI or similar tools.
• IT Domains: Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and automation technologies.
• Risk Management: IT risk assessment, risk registers, mitigation planning, and issue management.
• Team Leadership: Experience managing teams, performance management, coaching, and talent development.
