About The Job:
- This role is primarily focused on Solution Architecture, not reactive support or operational firefighting. We are looking for a Lead Solution Architect who can proactively identify problems, think out of the box, and design robust, future proof solutions for real world business and technology challenges.
- The architect will provide architectural leadership for cloud native, microservices driven solutions on Azure, and will be a key driver in defining and shaping a unified ECM architecture that seamlessly supports both enterprise Document Management platforms and Microsoft SharePoint.
- The emphasis of this role is on anticipating issues, designing the right architecture upfront, and enabling long term scalability, security, resilience, and compliance, rather than reacting to production incidents or recovery scenarios.
- Act as a solution owner, quickly understanding business problems and translating them into clear, practical, and scalable architectural solutions
- Proactively identify architectural risks, gaps, and future challenges and address them through strong upfront design
- Lead the end to end solution architecture for cloud-native ECM platforms on Azure
- Drive out of the box thinking to solve complex integration and platform challenges
- Define and evolve a unified ECM architecture supporting: Enterprise Document Management platforms (e.g., Documentum)
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Design cloud native, microservices based architectures using Java and Azure
- Evaluate multiple solution options and recommend the best fit architecture based on scalability, security, cost, and future growth
- Influence teams by setting architectural direction and principles, rather than engaging in reactive issue resolution
- Translate ambiguous or evolving requirements into well structured solution designs
- Create and maintain high quality architecture artifacts, including: Solution overviews
- Integration models
- Architecture decision records
- Ensure all architectural decisions align with enterprise standards, security, and compliance requirements
- 12–16 years overall IT experience, with strong experience in Solution Architecture roles
- Cloud Native & Microservices Architecture
- Strong experience designing cloud native solutions on Azure
- Proven ability to architect microservices based systems, including: Scalability
- Resilience
- Fault tolerance
- Observability
- Strong awareness of Azure microservices architecture, especially AKS based deployments
- Solution Design & Java Architecture
- Strong background in Java-based solution architecture
- Experience designing: RESTful APIs
- Service to service communication models
- Ability to guide architectural decisions, not just code-level implementation
- ECM & Unified Content Architecture
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) concepts
- Experience designing solutions involving: Document Management platforms (preferably Documentum)
- SharePoint
- Ability to conceptualize and design a unified ECM solution across multiple platforms
