Purpose of the Job

Supporting the regional business development functions, your primary role will be to support regional and global bids and tenders for existing or prospective clients. You will be responsible for applying and adapting standard content to client questions and proposals. You will ensure that bids are completed and submitted within the required timescales, and to the highest levels of quality and brand adherence. You will work closely with onshore stakeholders, including bid managers and business development leads.

You will also be responsible for liaising with the relevant departments across the business to ensure that all questions are fully and correctly answered. You will work closely with the India sales support team, including bid and presentation specialists. You will also be responsible for updating and organising a company-wide content library, to ensure that all content is correctly filed and updated.

In addition, the role will support the adoption and use of AI-powered tools and automation solutions to improve bid process efficiency, content management, knowledge retrieval, collaboration, and overall team productivity. This includes leveraging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted content generation, workflow automation, and intelligent search capabilities to streamline repetitive bid activities and enhance response quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with regional sales teams to support the creation and delivery of winning proposals that are in line with company strategy and objectives
  • Develop a wide network of SMEs across the business to support with the completion of client documents
  • Work within structured response schedules, and provide full visibility of progress to all team members
  • Use processes, technology, and AI-enabled tools to make bid team collaboration easy and efficient
  • Support the automation of repetitive bid management activities, including content retrieval, response drafting, reporting, tracking, and document management
  • Drive quality in all responses through review cycles, proofreading and continuous feedback to contributors
  • Contribute to the management and update cycles of standard bid content in our central content library
  • Identify opportunities to improve bid workflows, turnaround times, and team efficiency through automation and AI-driven solutions
  • Support the continuous improvement and adoption of digital tools, knowledge management platforms, and AI technologies across the sales support function

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • You must have excellent communication skills, and be able to build relationships at all levels both in-person and remotely
  • Time management skills and the ability to self-motivate are essential
  • You must be able to handle pressure and prioritise tasks effectively while working towards deadlines
  • You must be dynamic and professional, and willing to be flexible to accommodate the demands of client deadlines
  • You must be an advanced user of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and a competent user of Excel and Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint
  • Experience using AI-powered tools and automation platforms (such as Microsoft Copilot, AI search tools, workflow automation platforms, or similar technologies) to improve bid processes and team efficiency would be advantageous
  • Understanding of content management, knowledge libraries, and AI-assisted document retrieval/search capabilities is desirable
  • You should have an appetite to learn new skills, software packages, AI technologies, and develop your understanding of our services and proposition
