Senior Engineer
Functioning as a problem solver and technical interface between customer, service team, and engineering teams.
Managing and processing warranty claims related to Train IT components and systems, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Analyzing vehicle logs, diagnostic data, and field feedback to identify root causes of failures.
Coordinating corrective and preventive actions with design, software, and service teams.
Supporting maintenance teams with technical expertise, documentation, and fault rectification guidelines.
Conducting system tests, validation of fixes, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
Assisting in upgrades, retrofits, and software updates during service phase.
Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting warranty data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for product improvement
Generating comprehensive warranty reports, including failure analysis results, cost implications, and recommendations for product enhancements.
Identifying opportunities to streamline warranty processes, improve efficiency, and reduce warranty costs
Participating in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and other reliability engineering activities
Work Experience
Bachelor's degree/diploma in engineering such as communications engineering/ telecommunications or comparable
Experience in troubleshooting and warranty. Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Railway domain.
Good understanding of maintenance practices, customer support processes, and documentation.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and system architecture.
Experience in analyzing diagnostic data, fault logs, troubleshooting and warranty handling.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as TRDP, MVB, WTB, Ethernet.
