About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow SPM Developer to join our IT Service Management team. This role focuses on implementing and enhancing the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) suite, formerly known as IT Business Management (ITBM). You will play a key role in developing solutions that improve portfolio visibility, optimize resources, and align IT investments with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and configure solutions within the ServiceNow SPM suite, including:

  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

  • Demand Management

  • Resource Management

  • Financial Planning

  • Agile Development (SAFe or Scrum)

• Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate integrations with external tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or other enterprise systems.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies as needed.

• Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing SPM modules.

• Collaborate with platform architects and admins to ensure alignment with best practices.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, and user training materials.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and support sprint planning and reviews.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with ServiceNow SPM/ITBM suite.

• Strong understanding of Project Portfolio Management principles.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow development frameworks.

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

• Ability to develop customized dashboards and performance analytics.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
