Kotlin Engineers

We are looking for highly experienced Kotlin Engineers who can work independently end- to-end, take ownership of complex problems, and deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-driven, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast- moving environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Kotlin-based applications (backend and/or Android, depending on project needs). Own features from requirement understanding to design, implementation, testing, and release. Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable Kotlin code following best practices. Independently troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, UX, QA, DevOps) while operating with minimal oversight. Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, and code reviews. Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability of solutions. Document designs, decisions, and implementation details clearly. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin (5+ years preferred). Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables. Solid understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts. Experience with RESTful APIs and service integration Asynchronous programming (coroutines, flows) Unit testing and test automation Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Android development (Jetpack, MVVM, Compose) Backend development using Kotlin (Ktor, Spring Boot) Cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable) CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Exposure to performance tuning, observability, and monitoring. Prior experience working on large-scale or enterprise systems.
