Job Description:
Client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Network and Security Engineer L3 with 6+ years in network and security engineering, with at least 3 years in an L3 role to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network and security infrastructure. You will work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to support and enhance network & security protocols and manage security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and maintain the security of the network & security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, Load balancer, Client and proxy systems.
· Implement security measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
· Analyze and respond to security incidents and breaches, providing timely resolutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall organizational security posture.
· Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and audits to identify potential security risks.
· Document security processes and create reporting metrics to track compliance and performance.
· Periodically update the system software, taking periodic backup and maintained device lifecycle
· Lead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of network and security devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, WAF, IDS/IPS, etc.).
· Validate and implement network/security designs as per project requirements.
