About The Job:
- Experience: 8 to 12 Years (Relevant)
- We are looking for an SAP PP/PM Functional Consultant with 8+ years of experience in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.
- The role involves implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules.
Essential Job Functions:
- Participate in SAP PP/PM implementation, rollout, and support projects
- Configure PP (Discrete & REM) and PM functionalities
- Manage PP/PM master data and order lifecycles
- Integrate with MM, QM, FI/CO, and MES systems
- Conduct requirement gathering, testing, and end-user training
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams for enhancements
- Handle data migration using LTMC, LSMW, and BDC tools and support cutover activities
- Support interfaces including IDoc, BAPI, API and enhancements such as user exits, BAdIs, SAP Notes
- Use ServiceNow and CHARMs for incident and change management
Key Performance Indicators:
- Timely completion of SAP PP/PM implementation and support tasks
- SLA-compliant resolution of support tickets using tools like ServiceNow
- Accurate configuration and documentation of PP/PM processes
- Effective integration with SAP modules (MM, QM, FI/CO, MES)
- Proper use of ServiceNow/CHARMs for incident and change management
- Adoption of S/4HANA and Fiori applications
Qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA Certification in PP and/or PM (preferred)
- SSAM Certification or Asset Management experience (good to have)
- Minimum 1 full-cycle implementation or end-to-end rollout in SAP PP/PM
- Experience (2+ years) in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or plant operations
- Strong understanding of shop floor processes, maintenance operations, and production planning cycles
Functional Skills/Competencies:
- SAP PP/PM configuration and master data management
- Production and maintenance order lifecycle handling
- Implementation, rollout, and cutover experience
- Integration with MM, QM, FI/CO, and MES systems
- Data migration using LTMC, LSMW, BDC
- Enhancements using user exits, BAdIs, SAP Notes
- Interface handling (IDoc, BAPI, API)
- Functional specification writing, testing, and documentation
- Incident and change management (ServiceNow, CHARMs)
