AI Video & Animation Artist

Role Description The AI Video & Animation Artist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, focused on creating high-quality animated sequences and AI-assisted visual content for pre-production workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing 2D and 3D animation shots, crafting character animations, and translating scripts and concepts into clear visual narratives. The artist will collaborate with directors, storyboard artists, and the previs/postvis teams to design animatics, refine timing and camera movement, and ensure consistency in style and storytelling. The role also involves using AI tools and software to enhance animation pipelines, iterate quickly on visual ideas, and support virtual location scouting and concept visualization. The artist will participate in internal reviews, respond constructively to feedback, and maintain project files and assets in an organized, production-ready manner.
Qualifications
Required:
Background in animation, motion design, visual arts, or a related field (degree, diploma, or demonstrable self-learning)
Hands-on experience with at least one AI video generation tool (Runway, Kling, Seedance, Pika, etc.)
Familiarity with AI image generation (Midjourney, Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2, Stable Diffusion, or similar)
Strong eye for visual composition, pacing, and cinematic quality
Ability to take direction, iterate quickly, and work within a structured production process
Preferred:
Working knowledge of Blender, Maya, or Unreal Engine
Experience with ElevenLabs or other AI audio/voiceover tools
Experience with Nano Banana Pro or Seedance for look transfer and AI video refinement
A portfolio or personal projects showcasing AI-generated or animated work
Interest in storytelling, documentary-style content, or educational video
