About the Role

K.R. Mangalam University is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Admission Counselor to guide prospective students through the admission process and contribute to achieving enrollment targets. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counseling, and relationship-building skills, with experience in student admissions, educational counseling, or sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries related to admissions.
  • Convert inquiries into admissions by providing personalized guidance and follow-up.
  • Maintain regular communication with prospective students through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
  • Conduct campus tours and assist candidates during admission events, seminars, and counseling sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with academic departments and other stakeholders to facilitate the admission process.
  • Assist in organizing admission drives, educational fairs, school visits, and promotional activities.
  • Achieve individual and team admission targets as assigned by the management.
  • Stay updated on university programs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Admissions, Student Counseling, Educational Sales, Academic Counseling, or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and convincing abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
