About this Position

The role is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and supplier management for Packaging and Raw Materials within the FMCG environment, driving end-to-end cost optimization, value creation, and risk mitigation across the supply base. The position partners closely with Category Team Leadership (CTL), Manufacturing Groups (MG), Global Supply Chain, and key internal stakeholders to define and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, sustainability goals, and procurement standards.

What youll do

• Assists the CTL to develop a strategy for the entire CT spendinvolving the R-MGL/R-CTM, to define execution modalities after approval by MG.Ensures full documentation and traceability
• Supports the CTL to include systematically into strategy definitionE2E cost optimization in full interaction with G-SC
• Contributes to deliver bottom line/top line results managing ownspend/projects according to yearly/long term planning and upfront targetdefined with MGLs and KAMs; helps CTL to document all his/her decisions onsuppliers
• Gain and documents sustainably total value chain, industry andsupply base insight/knowledge for selected spend
• Conducts periodical risk assessment and designs and managesadequate countermeasures for selected spend
• Defines and manages selected sustainable supplier portfolio;selects suppliers; establishes strategic supplier relationship whereappropriate and manages it accordingly
• Supports full delegation of back-office jobs to GBS+ & developbest practices for e-sourcing with sustainable results
• Ensures cross fertilization of knowledge and best practices sharinginside the CT but also across MG
• Responsible for periodical progress measurement, accuracy ofinformation and data, in-time delivery, audit conform documentation of allsourcing activities according to procurement standards.
