Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Azure Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure data platforms and proven experience delivering complex enterprise data solutions. This role requires deep technical capability along with mentoring and partial ownership of solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms
- Develop ETL/ELT workflows using ADF, Synapse, and Databricks
- Build and optimize lakehouse architectures
- Mentor junior engineers and review code
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance tuning
- Support DevOps implementation (CI/CD pipelines)
- Contribute to solution design and technical discussions
Required Experience (7–10 Years)
- 7+ years in data engineering / data warehousing
- 7+ years of Azure data platform experience
Strong in:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure Databricks (PySpark)
- Advanced SQL, Python/PySpark
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing
- Strong data modelling (dimensional + normalized)
Mandatory Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) (Mandatory)
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional
