About YogKulam
YogKulam is one of India‘s leading yoga education institutions, working since 2012 to make authentic yogic knowledge accessible and career-oriented. With 40,000+ teachers trained and 8,000+ certified alumni across India and internationally, we operate across yoga teacher training, wellness education, and skill-based professional learning — with 30+ franchise centers and four international accreditations.
Our primary audience is Hindi-speaking students in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India — people who want a genuine yoga career but have never seen content that speaks directly to them, in their language, about their reality. That is the gap this role exists to close.
The Opportunity
This is a new role. We are not replacing someone — we are adding a dedicated content writer to a growing marketing team because the content demand has outgrown the current setup.
The person who takes this role will have a clear mandate: in 90 days, content going out from YogKulam should show measurable improvement in engagement and reach, and the Hindi content should feel like it was written by someone who genuinely understands the Tier 2 and Tier 3 student — not translated from English or generated by a tool.
If you are a writer who thinks in Hindi, understands what moves people to act, and wants to build your career inside a growing education brand — this role is for you.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Content Writer who can work across three content formats: social media content for Instagram and YouTube, long-form content including blogs and SEO articles, and performance content including Meta ad copy and landing page copy.
Hindi is the primary language for most content. English writing is required for select formats. The ability to switch between the two — and to write Hindi that feels native, not translated — is the core skill this role demands.
You will work within the marketing team under the Marketing & Growth Manager, collaborating with the social media executive, graphic designer, and video editor to produce content that performs across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content
- Write reel scripts, hooks, and voiceovers for Instagram and YouTube — primarily in Hindi
- Write captions, carousel copy, and post descriptions aligned to the content calendar
- Develop content ideas that connect with aspiring yoga teachers in Hindi-speaking India
- Write content that drives saves, shares, and comments — not just views
- Stay current with trending content formats and adapt them to YogKulam‘s voice and audience
Long-Form & SEO Content
- Write blogs and articles targeting yoga career, wellness, and teacher training topics
- Work with basic SEO principles — keyword placement, meta descriptions, heading structure
- Write course descriptions, program pages, and website content in Hindi and English
- Produce email newsletters and WhatsApp broadcast copy for student communication
Performance & Ad Copy
- Write Meta ad copy — headlines, primary text, and CTAs — for lead generation campaigns
- Write landing page copy that converts — clarity, urgency, and audience psychology matter here
- Collaborate with the performance marketing executive to test copy variants and improve CPL
- Write webinar promotional content, offer announcements, and launch communication
Content Planning & Coordination
- Contribute to the monthly content calendar with ideas, topics, and copy
- Deliver content on time, every time — no delays, no half-finished drafts
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content formats and platforms
- Take feedback from the Marketing Manager, iterate quickly, and improve output quality continuously
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Graduate in any stream
- Mass Communication, Journalism, Hindi Literature, or related field is preferred
Experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on content writing experience
- Demonstrated experience writing in Hindi for social media or digital platforms
- Experience writing ad copy or performance content is a strong advantage
Technical Skills
- Strong Hindi writing — native fluency, not translation ability
- Functional English writing for blogs, emails, and select ad formats
- Basic understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and Meta Ads content formats
- Familiarity with Google Docs, basic SEO concepts, and content calendars
- Ability to write across formats — short-form hooks, long-form articles, and persuasive ad copy
Who Will Succeed in This Role
- Someone who thinks in Hindi — your best ideas come in Hindi, not English
- Someone who understands the Tier 2 and Tier 3 student — their aspirations, their doubts, their language
- Someone who is deadline-driven — content calendars exist for a reason and you respect them
- Someone who takes feedback well and improves fast — first drafts are rarely final
- Someone who is curious about what works — you look at engagement data and ask why
- Someone who can write with feeling, not just information — content that moves people, not just informs them
What We Offer
- Salary: 18,000 – 22,000 per month
- Monthly & Yearly Rewards and Recognition Programs
- Group Health Insurance
- Yearly Company Trip and Team Outings
- Festival Celebrations and Team Activities
- Hands-on experience across social media, SEO, and performance marketing content
- Direct exposure to a high-output marketing team in a growing national brand
- Clear growth path into Senior Content Writer or Content Strategist as the team scales
Why Join YogKulam
Most content writing jobs at this level mean writing generic captions for brands that have no real story to tell. This role is different.
YogKulam has a genuine mission, a real audience, and a content problem worth solving. You will be writing for 40,000+ trained yoga teachers and thousands of students who are making real career decisions based on what they read and watch. Your words will directly influence whether someone takes the next step in their life.
You will work across three content formats, build your portfolio fast, and have real creative ownership over how a national yoga brand communicates with Hindi-speaking India. If you are serious about writing as a career — not just a job — this is where you build that foundation.
This Role Is Not For You If
- Your Hindi writing is translation-level — you think in English and convert to Hindi
- You write content without thinking about whether it will perform
- You miss deadlines or treat content calendars as suggestions
- You need heavy hand-holding to produce a first draft
- You are uncomfortable writing across multiple formats — social, long-form, and ad copy
- You are looking for a creative-only role with no accountability for results
