Film Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director to oversee the creative execution of our microdrama series. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in directing short-form content, a keen eye for storytelling, and the ability to collaborate effectively with actors, producers, and the production team to deliver high-quality episodes within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the creative team and scriptwriters to understand and interpret the series' vision.

- Direct the filming of each episode, ensuring the story is told compellingly and authentically.

- Guide actors and crew to achieve the desired performance, tone, and style.

- Make creative decisions on shot composition, camera angles, lighting, and pacing to enhance storytelling.

- Manage on-set logistics and troubleshoot any issues that arise during filming.

- Maintain consistency in visual style and tone across episodes.

- Work within production schedules and budgets to deliver episodes on time.

- Edit and review footage in collaboration with editors to ensure the final product aligns with the creative vision.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience directing short-form content, microdramas, Verticals or similar digital media.

- Strong storytelling ability with an eye for visual storytelling and pacing.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide cast and crew.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing production needs.

- Knowledge of filming equipment, lighting, and sound recording techniques.

- Portfolio or reel demonstrating previous directing work.
