Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems on GCP.
- Build and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using IaC tools.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for production issues.
- Optimize cloud resource usage for performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Solid understanding of networking, system administration, and cloud security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Deployment Manager).
- Exposure to incident management and on-call rotations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, distributed environments.
