Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PolicyCenter configuration, Gosu development, and a solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement business requirements, enhance system capabilities, and ensure high-quality delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement configuration solutions in Guidewire PolicyCenter aligned with business requirements

Develop and customize:

Product Model (lines, coverages, rating)

PCF (UI screens)
-
Business Rules & Workflows
-
Data Model extensions
-

Write and maintain clean, efficient code using Gosu
-
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders for requirement analysis and solution design

Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution across environments

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices

Support production releases, upgrades, and system enhancements
-
Contribute to performance optimization and system scalability initiatives

Maintain proper documentation and technical specifications
Required Skills & Experience

5–8+ years of experience in Guidewire development

Strong hands-on experience in PolicyCenter Configuration

Proficiency in Gosu programming language

Experience working with Guidewire Studio

Good understanding of integration concepts (REST/SOAP APIs)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)

Guidewire PolicyCenter Certification (Associate/Professional)

Domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance

Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)

Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka)

Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
