The Role: Demo Engineering & Value Realization
Boomi is seeking a highly technical and hands-on Senior Systems Development Engineer to join our Technology & Solutions (TASC) team. This role sits at the intersection of Solutions Engineering, demo strategy, and technical program execution.
In this capacity, you will serve as a critical technical resource responsible for building, scaling, and operationalizing high-impact demos, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technical assets. You will operate as a technical builder, problem solver, and enabler, partnering across Solution Engineering and Infrastructure teams to power consistent, scalable, and high-quality customer experiences.
What You'll Do
Design and build tailored Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and custom demos aligned to customer use cases
Translate business requirements into working technical solutions using Boomi and adjacent technologies
Create reusable demo assets that accelerate future opportunities
Partner with SEs to develop high-quality, technically accurate RFP/RFI responses, ensuring alignment to customer requirements and consistency across submissions
Assist in the management of demo environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance
Troubleshoot issues across integrations, connectors, and infrastructure
Partner with IT and Cloud Infrastructure teams to maintain and evolve environments
Contribute to strategic initiatives such as demo portals, internal tooling, reusable asset libraries, and enablement programs
Help standardize best practices across demos, PoCs, and technical validation workflows
*Working Hours: This role operates on a 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST shift to support global coverage across EMEA and North America*

The Experience You Bring
6+ years of experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, etc.)
Strong hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms, APIs, and integration patterns
Extensive experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, and Data Governance principles.
Ability to build and troubleshoot across cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments
Proven experience building custom demos, PoCs, or technical prototypes
Ability to translate complex requirements into working, customer-facing solutions
Experience managing or supporting technical environments and infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, integrations, and data flows
Background supporting RFP/RFI processes, demos, or technical sales cycles
Ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Bonus Points For
Experience with similar integration platforms to Boomi (MuleSoft, Workato, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies
Experience building reusable demo frameworks or internal tools
Exposure to automation, AI-driven workflows, or data-driven presales tooling
Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and technical validation strategies
