Assistant Manager - Performance Development

This role will work alongside T&PD and OEH colleagues to support the firm in successfully delivering our performance development cycle.

Experience

8-11 years of Experience of working with people processes, within a HR/OEH/People Team function or as part of services delivered to clients
Responsible for standalone deliverables that add significantly to the overall success of a project or team
Experienced at managing competing agendas/priorities
Experience in designing and documenting processes and a keen interest in process improvements and implementation
Experience in producing information for a range of stakeholders, including status reports, analysis and interpretation of data, and impactful presentation packs

Skills required

Graduate/Post-graduate with a degree in HR/Operations domain from reputed university
The ability to analyse and present information clearly to stakeholders of all levels, both written and oral
Demonstrating comfort with numbers, processes and policies
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
The ability to be proactive and use initiative: to see what needs to get done and getting it done
Strong administrative, management and organisational skills with great attention to detail
Ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations
Flexible and adaptable - able to respond to rapidly changing situations
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
A good degree of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SuccessFactors or equivalent HR system
SAP/Success Factors and ServiceNow experience would be an advantage in this role

Detailed roles & responsibilities include:

Support delivery of performance development cycle, including preparation and lead up to Year End and Goal Setting window by:
i.Operating performance development processes and delivering improvements,
ii.Responding to escalated performance development related queries from HR teams, People Centre, People Analytics, Risk, Finance, Salary & Benefits, Performance Leaders, and other member firms
iii.Ad hoc issue resolution, including identify actions to take and tracking down solutions
iv.Contributing to analysis of firmwide Performance Zone position, as well as updates to stakeholders and approval papers
v.Coordinating review of the process and identifying improvements
Coordinating input from HRBPs, Performance Leaders, and People Analytics to ensure all eligible colleagues and Partners are captured in our year end and goal setting process and are successfully moved through the stages
Working with our data team to coordinate the delivery of the year end and goal setting management information tools, including review of data sources and coordinating delivery of data by the deadlines, review of requirements, communication and tracking of deadlines for completion, supporting testing of tools
Leveraging our corporate tools, including AI and WalkMe, to optimize the colleague, Partner, and Performance Manager experience through the performance development cycle, including producing guidance and knowledge sharing
Making use of data we collect to provide data based insights to stakeholders to support decision making and our drive for continuous improvement
Supporting development and maintenance of process maps and operating procedures
Supporting the firm in meeting its regulatory requirements, by collecting and providing evidence for regulatory compliance tests
Supporting setup and maintenance of project plans
