Job Description
As a member of our India Global Resource Center, you would contribute to CDM Smith's vision by serving as Process Task Lead or Primary Process Engineer on a multitude of projects focused on water and wastewater treatment plant planning, design, and construction. This role will include coordination with team members of various engineering disciplines in our local offices as well as offices across the United States. Experience with design development of new drinking water treatment plants, upgrading existing facilities, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Membrane technology design experience including Reverse Osmosis on international/national water treatment plant projects. Design and detailed engineering experience on Zero liquid discharge plants and micropollutant treatment plants is preferable. Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Mentors more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm. May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work. Completing Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and review of more junior staff work product. Participate or assist in new business development by contributing to technical approach and level of effort development
Skills & Abilities
Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design. Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.). Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering with 8+ years of Experience (Preferred). Strong communication skills with internal and external clients Experience as a leader, mentor, and problem solver with a determination for excellence. Independent player with high self-motivation. Experience on International projects/clients will be added advantage. Strong communication skills with internal and external clients. Experience as a leader, mentor, and problem solver with a determination for excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineering (CEng) License (Preferred)Experience in International Projects will be added advantage
