Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a freelance/Part-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to showcase FilmAmple’s locations, services, and brand story. Day-to-day tasks include scripting and producing short-form videos and photo content, writing captions and posts, managing content calendars, and coordinating with internal teams to gather location and production information. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and design teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and participating in on-location shoots as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in social media content creation, including short-form video ,Camera friendly for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Experience in basic video editing, visual storytelling, and using creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software).
- Understanding of social media analytics, audience engagement strategies, and basic digital marketing principles.
- Ability to research trends in film, content creation, and social media to generate fresh and relevant ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or other Indian languages is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, including managing content calendars and meeting production deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site and occasionally at film locations, with a collaborative mindset and openness to feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Film, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in film production, entertainment, or a creative agency environment is a plus.
