Associate Gen AI Engineer

About the Role

You will build and integrate LLM-powered features into products using API services. You will design prompts, work with vector databases, and maintain AI pipelines under the guidance of senior engineers.

This role is ideal for engineers who are comfortable with Python and are curious about how LLMs work in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) into backend services.
• Build and iterate on prompts for accuracy, tone, and reliability.
• Set up and query vector databases for semantic search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Write clean, testable Python code for AI feature pipelines.
• Document prompt versions and experiment results.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions.

Requirements

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid Python programming skills.
• Exposure to at least one LLM framework, such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Understanding of REST APIs and basic system design.
• GitHub portfolio or internship experience demonstrating AI or backend development work.
