Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
• Create and execute automation test plans for web applications.
• Develop robust automation frameworks and improve existing test frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Maintain test data, test cases, and automation documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure high test coverage and improve software quality through automation best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C# for automation scripting.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or PyTest.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect tracking tools like JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest.
• ISTQB Certification is an added advantage.
