Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and reliable production systems.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using industry-standard monitoring and observability tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability and performance.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.
- Define and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure security, compliance, and operational best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Strong understanding of networking, system performance tuning, security, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.
