Cybersecurity Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) solutions.
• Manage authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
• Integrate applications with ISAM using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP.
• Configure and troubleshoot reverse proxy, junctions, and access control policies.
• Perform security assessments and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve security incidents related to identity and access management.
• Collaborate with application teams to implement secure authentication mechanisms.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, security procedures, and operational guides.
• Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Hands-on experience with IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) – Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, Federation, MFA, LDAP, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
• Experience with WebSEAL, reverse proxy configuration, and access policy management.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise authentication systems.
• Good understanding of network security, SSL/TLS, certificates, and web security concepts.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell/Python) is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other IAM solutions such as IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA), Ping Identity, or Okta.
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Relevant cybersecurity or IAM certifications are preferred.
