About The Job:
- We are seeking an experienced Oracle IDM SME to lead access control assessment, RBAC redesign, and identity governance strategy across Oracle and enterprise platforms.
- The role involves working closely with client stakeholders to analyze current access frameworks, recommend best practices, and design a scalable, secure access control model.
- Engage with client stakeholders to assess existing Identity & Access Management (IAM) and access control frameworks
- Review current user provisioning, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in access management
- Recommend industry best practices (Zero Trust, Least Privilege, SoD, etc.) 815 years of experience in IAM / security domain - Analyze and redesign Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models across:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Oracle Key Vault (OKV)
- Oracle APEX
- Oracle Databases
- Linux/Unix systems
- Define Roles, privileges, and policies, Role hierarchies and segregation of duties (SoD)
- Eliminate redundant roles and excessive privileges
- Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements
- Work closely with Oracle SMEs (DBA, Cloud, Middleware, Security teams)
- Provide technical guidance and oversight during implementation
- Validate configurations and ensure adherence to design
- Hands on with OCI IAM / IDCS
- Hands on with Linux access control (sudo, PAM, LDAP/AD integration)
- Experience with LDAP / Active Directory, SSO / Federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools
- Deep understanding of RBAC / ABAC models, Identity governance (IGA), Segregation of Duties (SoD)
- Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform / Ansible / scripting
