About The Job:
  • We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer (L1) to provide first-level technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, desktop, and mobile-related issues while maintaining high service quality and SLA compliance.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Handle incidents and service requests related to hardware, OS, applications, email, internet, and business tools
  • Perform troubleshooting to fix the issues (using SOPs and step-by-step diagnostics)
  • Install, configure, and provision laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and BYOD
  • Support OS and application installation on new and replacement systems
  • Log, track, and update tickets accurately in the ticketing system
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation
  • Deliver priority support for VIP users
  • Assist with Windows client patching and basic application support
  • Maintain IT asset records in CMDB / SharePoint and support IMAC activities
  • Replace faulty Laptop hardware components and support asset audits
Qualifications:
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, desktop/laptop hardware, and peripherals
  • Experience with mobile device and BYOD support
  • Basic understanding of networking, email systems, and enterprise applications
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, ticketing systems, and ITIL processes
  • Good communication, customer-handling, and documentation skills
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in Desktop / End User Support (L1)
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
