Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a 2D & 3D Animation professional at Apex Design Studio Art. You will create high-quality 2D and 3D animations, from initial concept and storyboards to final rendered assets, for use in videos, social media, advertising, and other digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include developing visual concepts, designing characters and environments, animating scenes, and refining timing, motion, and transitions based on feedback. You will collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, and clients to understand project goals, present ideas, and incorporate revisions efficiently. The role also involves preparing assets for delivery, maintaining organized project files, and meeting deadlines while adhering to brand and style guidelines.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in 2D and/or 3D animation, including character animation, motion, and timing.
• Proficiency with industry-standard animation and design software (e.g., After Effects, Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar tools).
• Experience creating storyboards, animatics, and visual concepts that communicate ideas clearly.
• Ability to design and refine characters, environments, and assets that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
• Solid understanding of composition, color, lighting, and visual storytelling for digital media.
• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to review and polish work for quality and consistency.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote team environment, including responsiveness to feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Relevant education or training in animation, design, visual arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Online portfolio or reel demonstrating 2D and/or 3D animation work is required.
