Job Overview

As a Graphic Designer at Kara Healthcare, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual assets that support our brand, marketing, and communications activity. You will work closely with the marketing and digital agencies to deliver visually engaging designs across print and digital platforms, ensuring all outputs are on-brand, consistent, and impactful.


Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Visual Content

  • Design a wide range of marketing and communication materials, including social media graphics, digital ads, email templates, brochures, posters, flyers, signage, reports, presentations, awards nominations and other branded assets.
  • Create visual content to support campaigns, events, and internal communications.
  • Develop and maintain a well-organised library of design assets, templates, and imagery.
  • Collaborate with the web and digital team to design web and mobile graphics that enhance user experience.
  • Edit, retouch, and optimise images for both digital and print use.
  • Support light motion or video design where required (e.g. resizing, thumbnails, simple edits).
  • Ensure all designs strictly adhere to Kara Healthcare’s brand guidelines, maintaining visual consistency across all channels.


Collaboration & Delivery


  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and operational teams to understand design requirements and deliver creative solutions.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Take briefs from concept through to final execution, incorporating feedback efficiently.


About you & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing digital and print design work.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality design output.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with non-design stakeholders.
  • Experience with basic video or motion design tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience within healthcare, care, or a regulated sector is an advantage but not required.
