Job Description: Sales Engineer (Hydro & Turbines)\nLocations:\nMaharashtra & Madhya Pradesh Region: (Head Office - Mumbai based)\n\nJob Purpos\neTo drive business growth by identifying technical requirements at hydropower plants and providing engineering-led solutions for turbine maintenance, refurbishment, and component replacement. You will act as the technical bridge between the site engineers and our design/manufacturing teams\n\n.\nKey Responsibiliti\nesTechnical Sales & Application: Proactively promote our specialized hydro portfolio, including turbine components and system conversions (e.g., oil-to-water lubricatio\nn)Field Engagement: Conduct site visits to hydro power plants for technical assessments and commercial negotiation\ns.Solution Design: Collaborate with the back office to prepare detailed technical-commercial offers and tender documentation based on site-specific turbine requirement\ns.Technical Presentations: Deliver high-level technical demonstrations to plant managers and SEs, showcasing how our engineering solutions improve turbine efficiency and longevit\ny.Relationship Management: Develop long-term partnerships with hydro end-users (State Gencos, IPPs, and Central Utilities) to generate inquiries for parts and service\ns.Market Intelligence: Maintain accurate CRM records of turbine health at various sites and track upcoming maintenance schedules (A/B/C/D inspections\n\n).\nCandidate Requireme\nntsEducation: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Hydro-Mechanical Engineeri\nng.Experience: 3–7 years in Hydro Turbine maintenance, installation, or technical sal\nes.Skil\nls:Deep understanding of turbine types (Francis, Kaplan, Pelton) and their mechanical componen\nts.Experience with Tender Documentation and ERP systems is highly preferr\ned.Willingness to travel extensively to remote hydro plant locatio\n\nns.
