Assembly Technician

It is in that entrepreneurial spirit that we are seeking an energetic and motivated individual who is passionate about helping to grow the business by working with our engineering team & supplier in the Manufacturing Assembly & Quality Department.

The APAC Assembly Tech will be responsible to:

• Assemble the Tricord Parts (Chains, Omni, Jack & other assembly) within our supplier’s facility
• Verify all the testing, bolt torquing and availability of assembly item/BOP in final assembly or before sending to parts to next process.
• Track and manage local supplier process times and quality when requested
• Provide video reviews and production status of the part
• Review process documents (Material certificates, Process parameters) and revert to supplier when corrections needed
• Work with supplier to build Gantt charts and robust Control Plans as required
• With time start support for quality tech on dock audit activities and documentation to engineering team as required
• With time start support for quality tech on PPAP templates & 8D capability and application if needed

Qualifications-

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 0-5 years’ experience as Tricord will train on each product assembly process and inspection methodology with proper instrument.
• Up to 50% travel may be required to visit different supplier’s locations for on-site for assembly and with time supporting in inspections and ensuring parts meet quality standards and specifications.
