Azure Cloud Migration Engineer - SAL2

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute migration of on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure.
• Build, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, and Load Balancers.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep).
• Assess and migrate VMware environments to Azure using Azure Migrate and related tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost.
• Implement cloud security best practices, identity management, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Migration projects.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Experience with Azure networking, storage, compute, and identity services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Bash scripting.
• Good understanding of cloud governance, monitoring, and security best practices.
