Qualifications:
Functional Skills:
  • Should have minimum 5-8 years working experience in MQ 9.x and 8.x administration.
  • Working experience in a critical production environment
  • Working experience in MQ Software upgrade/migration on Linux/Windows platform.
  • Experienced in MQ Cluster configuration, MQ Certificate configuration and MQ object setup.
  • Experience in MQ multi-instance MQ, RDQM.
  • Experienced in MQ troubleshouting.
  • Experienced working with Client vendor support on MQ issues and bugs.
  • Experienced in Scripting/Automation of the MQ activities.
  • Experienced in MQ capacity analysis and performance analysis.
  • Experienced in setting up monitoring for MQ.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple application teams, gather and analyze technical requirements.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Good to have in Addition:
  • Knowledge of RabbitMQ and MehsIQ
  • Manage a highly skilled team (multi skilled), Onboard skilled resources for the user support
  • Manage projects, cost control, budgets and ensure optimization
  • Good understanding of automation and its best practices
  • Should be capable of handling critical escalations and ensure towards resolution
  • Should be skilled to work independently, propose ideas and work globally
  • Should be comfortable working in highly challenging and stressful environment
  • Good knowledge on Infra management and it best practices (availability, service quality and legacy management)
  • Good Knowledge on Incident, Change, Request and Release Management
  • Good understanding of Vulnerability management
  • Good Understanding of Asset, license and Capacity Management
  • Good Understanding of Resiliency, DR Process and BCP
  • Good Knowledge in managing projects, reporting, timelines and publishing dashboards
  • Ensure resiliency tests/exercises are performed as per the recommendations.
  • Participation is must to support application when there applicative DRs.
  • Flexible to handle weekend activities as per requirements

  • ITIL V3 knowledge, Agile Certifications
