Role: Lead Salesforce Engineer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 5 months
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote, but must be in office for 1st weeks (Wed/Thurs) - Hyderabad, India

Overview
The Lead Salesforce Engineer will provide development leadership and technical direction for a Salesforce Service Cloud implementation supporting contact center operations. You will design and build scalable solutions, guide best practices, and deliver integrations and enhancements that improve customer experience across a global, multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect complex technical Cloud CRM solutions on Salesforce/Force.com.
  • Design and deliver advanced customizations using Apex, Lightning (Aura/LWC), and JavaScript.
  • Integrate multiple cloud and on-premise technologies with the Salesforce platform, including extensive API-based integrations.
  • Operate partially within the US Eastern time zone to align with US-based teams.
  • Deliver day-to-day code changes and enhancements on the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Guide project team members to ensure Salesforce best practices are embedded in the solution.
  • Run workshops with business teams and communicate configuration vs code trade-offs.
  • Translate functional requirements into Salesforce features and technical designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers in Salesforce development, integrations, and best practices.
  • Oversee vendor and internal team code reviews and quality standards.
  • Serve as application SME for global deployment; educate stakeholders on current and planned capabilities aligned to the Salesforce product roadmap.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience as a developer on an enterprise CRM solution (Salesforce).
  • 6+ years' experience as a Salesforce Developer within Service Cloud.
  • Current Salesforce Developer and Administration certifications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex Classes/Triggers, Apex test frameworks (Mocks/Test classes), enterprise patterns, and Lightning (Components + LWC).
  • Extensive experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems via APIs.
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical resources and contributing to large-scale implementations.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing digital contact center solutions such as Omni-Channel, Email, and Social.
  • Experience with Platform Events, AppExchange products, and Batch Apex.
  • Salesforce Agentforce experience.
  • NICE call center CTI integration experience.
  • Integration experience with AWS.
  • Salesforce GenAI exposure.
  • Experience in e-commerce and other fast-paced environments.
  • Agile delivery experience.
